Shopify Partners with Walmart to Bring Shopify Sellers to the Walmart Marketplace

Shopify has partnered with Walmart to bring Shopify seller’s content to the Walmart Marketplace. The partnership will greatly expand the reach of the participating brands by placing them in front of Walmart Marketplace’s 120 million monthly visitors.

Shopify sellers are being invited to install the Walmart Marketplace app from Shopify’s App Store and determine their eligibility. If approved, the sellers can then add an unlimited number of products to Walmart Marketplace, while making changes to product images and inventory within Shopify. Those changes will immediately and automatically be reflected on Walmart’s site, the retailer says.

Shopify has been firing on all cylinders recently with integration with Google, Pinterest and even their own Shop App, the integration with these platforms are usually quite easy to rollout and when looking at other platforms like WooCommerce where there are a lot of 3rd party plugins you have to work with this makes it a very compelling platform for beginners.
