Private Facebook Groups of Any Size Will No Longer Be Able to Switch Their Privacy Setting to Public

Apparently Facebook will soon block the ability for private Facebook groups of any size to switch their privacy setting to public.

Previously, only groups with fewer than 5,000 members were able to change the privacy of their group from private to public. To be consistent, Facebook says it’s changing a group’s privacy from private to public will no longer be possible for any size group in the coming weeks.

Also, if you do change your group from public to private, you will now have up to 72 hours to reverse this privacy setting change back to public.
