Google Starts Crediting Itself in Knowledge Panels Instead of Wikipedia

Looks like for some queries Google has started replacing Wikipedia references with their own, I am assuming these are entity information they are building out in their Knowledge Graph.

I suppose the writing was on the walls since Wikipedia started asking big tech to -pay up for using their content.

Sample Query: Try searching for Sample Query on Mobile or Desktop. I was able to trigger the result from Australia and the USA.
