Chrome Plans to Phase out Support for Third-Party Cookies in Two Years

https://blog.chromium.org

Google is planning to phase out third-party cookies in Chrome in two years. Which means websites will not be able to ID you or track you across multiple sites, thus cripplings programmatic advertising in its current form.

In Feb this year Chrome will limit insecure cross-site tracking, by treating cookies that don’t include a SameSite label as first-party only, and require cookies labeled for third-party use to be accessed over HTTPS.
