Scribd Acquires Presentation-Sharing Service SlideShare from LinkedIn

SlideShare has a new owner, with LinkedIn selling the presentation-sharing service to Scribd for an undisclosed price. According to LinkedIn, Scribd will take over operation of the SlideShare business on September 24.
