Google Says That Local Ranking Changes Around The Core May Update Was a Bug
https://searchengineland.comThere was a noticeable shuffle in local SERPs around the same time the Core May update was released. It turns out, this was not the result of an algorithmic update but rather a bug.
Google said they have resolved it about about two weeks ago, and apparently things have stabilized since then. They have not provided any other info in regards to this. I wonder if anyone who tracks local results have seen any reversal with this?
Just wanted to update. Thanks for the examples. They helped us find a bug that we got resolved about about two weeks ago, and that seems to have stabilized things since.
