Amazon and Walmart Axed Custom Affiliate Partnership With Large Publishers Like Buzzfeed, Vox, and Vice
https://wccftech.comAmazon and Walmart have reportedly ended (pay wall) affiliate marketing programs for some of their media partners, however, the program that they are ending is quite specific and will only impact the largest publishers on the web like Buzzfeed, Vox, and Vice.
Per The Information’s report the program, used by Buzzfeed, Vox, and Vice, which Amazon and Walmart are looking to cut, involves a “guarantee of a minimum level of payment regardless of the traffic generated by the posts on the websites.” This is not the norm for most media partners, a payout is only based upon performance.
