Show Price Match Guarantee Info When Visitors Copy Product Name From Title
This is a nice marketing tactic you can use, that was recenly shared by Paddy Moogan.
The idea is that when a visitor copies the name of the product theya re going to page that into Google to check if they can get the item for a lower price or see if they can find a coupon code.
You can see it in action on Curry’s PC World and a simiar one on AO.com.
This is not new, I remember seeing a similar feature on InVision. When you right-clicking their logo, the page opens a pop-up window that gives you the option to download a Zip packed folder of their logo. The idea being most users would want to download the logo and it helps to make that easier for them by giving the logo files directly.
The basic code snippet to show a modal on right click can be seen here, and that can be easily adapted to use on right clicking the title.
