Facebook is Testing Email Marketing Tools for SMBs

We saw that Medium was getting into the email game and now looks like Facebook is the next big Tech to jump onto the email game.

Apparently, this new service (being tested with a small number of businesses) will enable SMBs to create email contact lists individually or by uploading contact lists from spreadsheets, after which they can compose emails via easy-to-use tools and send those emails directly via the Facebook platform, with the ability to track their performance. Pages that have access to this tool will likely see a Marketing Emails tab on the left side.

I am not sure if they will allow page owners to emails everyone who liked the page, but it looks like it’s more of a platform where you have to upload a list and then you can email those people and see some stats around the campaign.
