Shopify Is Looking for Feedback on What You Would Change in robots.txt If You Were Given Access to It
https://docs.google.comLooks like the folks at Shopify is looking into giving some sort of ability to edit robots.txt. If that is something you want, head over to the document and share why you need it, who knows it might end up happening.
PS: At the moment you can use Cloudflare Workers on Shopify to edit robots.txt, but you will need to get it enabled first.
