They decided to do a second follow-up test, where they only added the review markup, hypothesising that not having competitive pricing was making searchers less likely to click on their customer’s search results.
The on-page changes in the second version of the test were the same as before, but this time in the structured data we only included the information to win review snippets, without including price information.
This test was a big win, resulting in an estimated 20% uplift to organic traffic for this set of our customer’s product pages!
