HowTo Schema Snippets Now Appear on Desktop SERPs

When I was googling for one of my tools “jsonld tag manager fixer” I saw that the result had a snippet for HowTo Schema that was added on the page. I have seen that page show the rich snippet for that while on mobile and it never used to work on desktop and looking at the official documentation says it’s not available on desktop devices but it appears to have started appearing on them.
