Google Will Deploy a New Spelling Algorithm Powered by Deep Neural Net by the End of the Month

According to Google one in 10 queries every day are misspelled and with a new spelling algorithm that uses a deep neural net, they have significantly improved their ability to decipher misspellings. According to them, this single change makes a greater improvement to spelling than all of their spelling improvements over the last five years.

They look at all the ways people miss spell words in their search queries and in the text on the web to predict what you mean.
