Google July 2021 Link Spam Update Rolling Out Now
https://developers.google.comGoogle has just confirmed a link spam update is rolling out today. It’s expected to be rolling out for the next two weeks. They say that it is even more effective at identifying and nullifying link spam more broadly, across multiple languages. (MUM is that you)
They also warned that sites taking part in link spam will see changes in Search as those links are re-assessed by their algorithms.
Google also shared some best practices around Affiliate link where they specifically mentioned using rel=”sponsored”, they also shared some general advice around Sponsored and guest post links.
