Google Injects Dedicated Popular Products Section in SERPs for Clothes, Shoes and Accessories
https://www.blog.googleStarting today and rolling out this week, you’ll begin to see clothes, shoes and accessories from different stores and brands within a new dedicated section on mobile SERP. You can filter by style, department and size type, or look at multiple images of a product. You will be taken to the store’s website to complete the purchase.
Looks like this is power by something called Show products on surfaces across Google and will be available in USA and India and will be powered by Product Schema Markup and Merchant Center product feed.
