Cloudflare is open sourcing of the Workers runtime under the Apache 2.0 license

Cloudflare Workers has helped to define the standard for edge computing. Since 2017, more than 450,000 developers have built on Cloudflare’s developer platform and more than three million applications have been launched.

Cloudflare is announcing the open sourcing of the Workers runtime under the Apache-2.0 license, which should give developers the confidence to build on the platform freely.
