Chrome May Soon Allow Sites to Style Scroll-to-Text Fragments

It looks like there is an ongoing discussion that may allow developers to Style Scroll-to-Text Fragments with CSS using ::target-text` pseudo class . This will allow you to get rid of that jarring yellow and style it with your brand colours or any other style that you choose!!! Great when you have featured snippets ranking.
