Bug Prevents The Google Places API Generated Review Link From Working On The Desktop

You might notice that there is a bug on Google that prevents the Google Places API generated review link from working on the desktop – it works on mobile. It does not seem to impact all businesses.

eg: https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=ChIJ00TFg2kpikcRpab5LKtSzp0 does not work
but this does https://search.google.com/local/reviews?placeid=ChIJ6yngRPFC1moRCemCsydcErQ

Here is a temporary fix: you can add the following parameter &lsig=0 at the end of each of your URLs

eg: https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=ChIJ00TFg2kpikcRpab5LKtSzp0&lsig=0
