Google Tests a New Design for Showcase Shopping Ad That Some Folks Might Consider to Be an Organic Listing

Google is running a format-blending Shopping ads test that apparently has the product listing ad (PLA) accompanied by a text block below it with a blue linked headline and description. The text is still in the Ads card, but the average person is unlikely to understand it’s not an organic listing. It looks like they switched out the carousels for different advertisers into tabs.
