Cloudflare Announces Cron Triggers and Durable Objects
https://blog.cloudflare.comCloudflare has announced a bunch of new features to take their edge network even more powerful. Cloudflare Workers has given us easy access to Edge SEO and now these takes that a few steps further.
Durable Objects: (apply for beta access) are the missing piece in the Workers stack that makes it possible for whole applications to run entirely on the edge, with no centralized “origin” server at all.
Cron Triggers: now you can set up cron jobs to schedule Cloudflare Workers to run at fixed intervals.
